Excellent for my almost 5 year old literacy buddy who is really into tigers. The dozen and a half tiger pictures are excellent and the description of a tiger's life and environment is well done. The adult helper readers will appreciate the wildlife conservation message at the end and it will hopefully make an impression on the young.
Great book wish it talked more about Tiger facts and less about poaching tigers but I just re word it to make it appropriate for my 4 year old.
I got this book for my 3-year-old son for his birthday along with some other animal books. While he does occasionally pull this one out, it's kind of boring in that the pictures are mostly pretty similar to one another, and the photos themselves are not nice glossy photos but dulled by being printed on regular paper. I don't think I'll buy from this series again.
Grandaughter does "research" with these books!
