Monster Hunter Flash Hunter volume 4 continues our hunters quest to protect Pokke Village from a monster invasion. The artwork of the monsters continues to gorgeous and really captures the way they move.As far as story is concerned the highlight is Keres history and the scars that it has left on his personality. It gives us a nice look at his father Ivan and how Keres teammates remind Keres of him and not always in the best light. On the other hand this volume tries to tie in video game mechanics but fails to make it feel natural. And that can take you out of the moment briefly.One thing I personally loved as a person who plays Monster Hunter, is the way the manga capture the terror of your first Tigrex hunt. It does a very nice nice job of recreating the overwhelming presence a Tigrex has. It's probably the best hunt of the series so far.
The books came in perfect condition. Honestly, if you're a long time hunter or new to the series you'll love the similarities.
Wish it wasn't rushed and was more since there was so much that could have be fleshed out. But it was a good ending. Hope the author reconsiders and makes more.
Ive purchased every book in this series, they're always in perfect condition. And the stories great if your a monster hunter fan.
A complete battle volume. Still fighting the monsters from the last volume, switching back and forth between two teams fighting different monsters. Some more background on Keres' father and a lot of talk about what it means to be a monster hunter. Some have selfish reasons, others noble.
